THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY, MINES AND ENERGY
- Having seen the Constitution of the Kingdom of Cambodia;
- Having seen Preah Reach Kret No. 0704/124 dated 15 July 2004 regarding the establishment of the Royal Government of Cambodia;
- Having seen Preah Reach Kram No.0196/05 dated 24 January 1996, promulgating the Law on the Establishment of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy;
- Having seen Preah Reach Kram No.0600/001 dated 21 June 2000, promulgating the Law on the Control of Quality and Safety of Products, Goods and Services;
- Having seen Anukret No. 42 dated 15 May 2001 on Industrial Standards of Cambodia.
- Having seen Prakas No.115 dated 12 February 2004 of Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy on establishment of Cambodian Industrial Standards for electronic and electrical products as mandatory standards
- Referred to request of the Ministry.
Decision
Article 1: Determination of types of electrical and electronic products produced in the country and imported from foreign countries to use and market in Kingdom of Cambodia shall be complied with mandatory standards as stated in the below table:

Article 2: Manufacturers, companies produce or import the products listed in the above table shall comply with Cambodian Industrial standards as given in the fifth column of the table and shall use Cambodian standard mark on their products after receiving a license for using standard mark from Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy before marketing in Kingdom of Cambodia.
Article 3: Procedures for applying the license shall comply with Prakas No. 621 dated 23 July 2005 of Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy on GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR GRANTING LICENSE TO USE PRODUCT CERTIFICATION MARKS.
Article 4: For products produced in the Kingdom of Cambodia, manufacturers, companies shall report monthly to Department of Industrial Standards of Cambodia, Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy the amount of products to be used the Cambodian standard mark and marketed in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Article 5: For imported products with the license from Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy, companies or importers shall apply for letter of released products from Department of Industrial standards of Cambodia, Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy to release the goods or products from the border and shall enclose with the license to use the product certification mark from Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy.
Article 6: For imported products without the license, companies or importers may apply for temporarily letter of released products from Department of Industrial standards of Cambodia, Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy, to be transferred to the appropriate place in order to arrange to apply for license to use standard mark from Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy.
Article 7: Prokas or any decision is inconsistent with this Prakas shall be null and avoid.
Article 8: This Prakas shall become effectively to implement from 01 January 2007.
