SUBDECREE

On

Visa-Registration of Medicines

The Royal Government of Cambodia

Pursuant to

- The Constitution of the Kingdom of Cambodia;

- Royal Decree of His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Norodom Sihanouk Varman, King of the Kingdom of Cambodia, dated November 1, 1993, on the Establishment of the Royal Government of Cambodia;

- Request of the Minister of Health;

Hereby decides:

Article 1: All kinds of medicines produced locally can be displayed for sale only if they are registered with visa numbers approved by the Ministry of Health.

Article 2: All kinds of medicines imported from overseas can be displayed for

sale only if they have registration approved by the Ministry of Health.

Article 3: The conditions for requesting visa registration numbers of medicines shall be determined by the Ministry of Health.

Article 4: Medicines that receive visa or registration numbers of medicines from the Ministry of Health shall be subject to payment of fees as determined by the Ministry of Health.

Article 5: Inspection  of  the  provision  and  revocation  of  visas  or  registration numbers  of  medicines  shall  be  the  competence  of  the  Ministry  of Health.

Article 6: Any provisions contrary to this sub decree shall be abrogated;

Article 7: The Minister of the Office of the Council of Ministers, the Minister of Health shall be obliged to effectively implement the sub decree herewith as per their respective duties.

Article 8: This sub decree shall take legal effect from the date of royal signature and signature onwards.
