Description

This process represents the procedure used by the Customs Excise Department (EXD) of GDCE to issue:

  • Import Authorization for petroleum products comprising oil, gas, and other products derived from petroleum
  • Import Authorization to import goods under duty free regime

The process to obtain these authorizations is identical in all respects except for the authorization permit, which has a different pre-printed heading.

For the petroleum products Import Authorization, the applicant must already be approved to import petroleum products into Cambodia.

Place for submitting application

All Import Authorizations need to be applied for and issued by the Customs Excise Department at GDCE’s Customs Headquarters in Phnom Penh.

This letter needs to be drafted by the applicant and can be in free format.

Note 2

  • Commercial Invoice
  • Bill of Lading
  • Business Registration Certificate
  • VAT Registration Certificate
  • Patent Certificate

Note 3

The fee for the Fiscal Stamp is KHR 100.

Note 4

The import authorization permits for petroleum and gas products has a different pre-printed heading from the one for Duty Free goods.
