Application for Import Certificate for Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer

The customer may apply for the above permit for the import of ozone-depleting products and/or substances as stated in Annex 1 of Sub-Decree No. 47 on Ozone Depletion Control. Customers must first register as an importer of ozone-depleting products and/or substances before applying for an import permit.

All sample receipts, applications, fees, and letters are received at the Ministry of Agriculture's one window service office “OWSO” located at the Ministry's office. The OWSO consists of officials from the Pollution Control Department of the General Technical Department, a department that specializes in providing services on the issuance of the above-mentioned permits on a regular basis to provide services related to its unit.Ministry of Environment

Applicants can receive a sample application form from the Ministry of Environment's one window service office.

Applicants may appoint a representative to apply but must have a power of attorney or letter of introduction.Attachments include:

• Business Registration Certificate
• Value Added Tax Registration Certificate

The attachment may be a copy certified by the relevant Ministry.

The implementation of internal procedures is started from the specialized office and goes through a number of hierarchies as defined in the law. Prior to reaching a decision, the specialist officer may contact the applicant directly for any necessary supplementation required for the adequacy of the request, such as requiring the applicant to provide additional documents to the expert officer.

After issuing the approval decision on the application, the professional officer will contact the applicant to pay the service fee. The service price is determined by the type, and quantity of goods/products requested for import and in accordance with the joint declaration of the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Environment on the provision of public services of the Ministry of Environment.

This permit states the type, quantity of goods, and validity (1 month). When receiving the permit, the applicant should bring his / her ID card or other identification along with the receipt/payment receipt.
